Stacey Solomon makes surprising admission about 'being pregnant with triplets'

Stacey Solomon has made a jaw-dropping comment about being pregnant with triplets.

The 33-year-old TV star and Joe Swash are already parents to three children, including two-year-old Rose and one-year-old Belle. Stacey also has two sons from previous relationships.

But it seems the mum-of-five might be considering expanding her brood after she playfully suggested she could fall pregnant with triplets again when chatting with fans on Instagram Stories yesterday.

While getting stuck into scrubbing some windows at her mansion Pickle Cottage, the Loose Women panellist jested: "This is usually Joe's job, but I love these windows so much that if I saw him cleaning them, I'd instantly be pregnant with triplets [laughing emoji]."

The former X-Factor star's family includes 16-year-old Zachary and 10-year-old Leighton from past relationships, while Joe also has a son Harry from a previous relationship, reports the Mirror.

Despite the light-hearted joke, Stacey had previously dismissed any notion of having more children in a chat with the Mirror last year, admitting: "We don't want any more we cannot cope with it. Yeah, we wanted all these kids and we're so grateful to have them. So we will get romantic... but in 20 years' time!"

The Loose Women star has adamantly dispelled rumours of a sixth child on the way.

Addressing her eager Instagram followers, she said: "Oh, for those of you messaging me saying is this baby number six - no, no no! Don't worry, we're taking every precaution possible to make sure that doesn't happen! " as reported by the Express.

Joe had previously chatted with The Netmums Podcast insisting there aren't plans for more offspring: "Before you know it you've got six! This is it, I'm pretty sure that this is it. We can't go there again which is really sad, we love kids, we love the baby stage, and the toddler stage, and the baby stage goes by really fast, so it is a little bit sad but I think this will be it."

Contrastively, Stacey admitted earlier this year that she was feeling "broody".

In January - whilst under the weather while on holiday - Stacey uploaded a clip of Belle and Rex having fun at their residence, Pickle Cottage.

Amused by Belle's ventures in the kitchen, she wrote: "Well Done Belle and Rexy This made my day today.."

Reflecting on Belle's growth, she observed: "While I've been feeling unwell Rex and Joe have been teaching Belle new skills What happened to my baby? Why am I broody? Hope this makes you smile as much as it did me today."

It comes as former EastEnders star Joe opened up about his desire to foster kids, alongside Stacey.

In an interview with Netmums last year, Joe revealed: "Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do. We'd love to foster, we'd love to give something back, you know? It is something that we definitely want to do, when our kids get old enough that they're not as reliant on us."

Joe's mum, Kiffy, has been fostering for 15 years and her dedication has inspired the couple to consider fostering in the future.

The family has also spoken openly about their support for children in care, with Stacey regularly working with children's charities.
