Stacey Solomon says 'not a day goes by' as she pays tribute to 'soulmate for 11 years'

Stacey Solomon has paid tribute to her late dog Theo, telling her 5.9 million Instagram followers that her pet pooch was her "soulmate" for 11 years and that not a day goes by when she doesn't miss her furry friend. In a sweet post, the 34-year-old reflected on how much she loved her beloved chihuahua, who died just after Christmas in 2021..

Sitting under a cherry blossom tree with her daughters Rose and Belle, the BBC Sort Your Life Out star shared that she got Theo when she was a mum-of-two, both before she married husband and actor Joe Swash and welcomed three more children, and before the family moved into Pickle Cottage.

Taking to Instagram, Stacey said: "Theo's Tree. Me and all of my girlies… Theo was my first girl. The most incredible doggy.

"We named this tree Theo's tree because it's so beautiful & doesn't flower for long enough like Theo. I got Theo when it was just me & the boys & she was my girl. My little soul mate for 11 years. I’m so glad she made it to Pickle Cottage and she sleeps here under the blossom tree."

Stacey continued: "I had a shoot from home & I couldn't not get some pictures of me & the girls under her tree which has blossomed more & more every year since Theo passed. I feel like every time the bright pink leaves shower the tree it’s Theo letting us know shes ok. We miss you Theo, not a day goes by that I don’t think of you!"

Stacey was flooded with comments as one fan wrote: "The cutest photos @staceysolomon so beautiful that you have a constant reminder there of your beautiful girl Theo," while another added: "Such beautiful photos & Theo was such a massive part of your life so to have this is truly beautiful."
