While Love Island is back on screens, it's Perfect Match that we've been binge-watching all weekend. But there's really only one question we want to know the answer to: Are Stevan and Alara still together? Here's what you need to know.
Ok, so cast your mind back to February 2023, and you might remember the dating show world was thrown into chaos when Netflix released Perfect Match. The show sees recognisable faces from the likes of Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, The Mole and more put into a luxury villa, in an attempt to find their ideal person.
During the process, they take part in a series of compatibility challenges, and take it in turn to ask other participants if they'd like to couple up each evening. The winning pair is the couple picked as the 'perfect match' by their fellow contestants.
The show is back for season two, with all episodes being available to stream on Netflix right now.
What happens between Stevan and Alara in Perfect Match?
While Stevan, who you might recognise from Too Hot to Handle season 3, is initially matched with Xanthi from The Circle season 5, he's sent on a date with Alara from Dated and Related.
The pair hit it off immediately, with Stevan choosing to recouple with Alara over Xanthi, later cooking her dinner and telling her how much he likes her. While they're both tested during their time in the villa, being sent on dates with other people, it's safe to say they only have eyes for each other, ending the final episodes as an item.
Despite being fan favourites during their time on the show, fans were surprised to see Alara and Stevan lose out to Christine and Nigel when it came to being named the perfect match. Wait, what?

Are Stevan and Alara together now?
Despite not actually winning the show (apparently they lost out by one vote!), Stevan and Alara were one of the strongest couples in the Perfect Match villa.
Stevan is from California in the USA, and Alara lives in Wales, which made fans worry about the potential for doing things long distance. But judging my her social media presence, Alara's been spending a lot of time in LA recently. In one TikTok, she hung out with Micah from Love Is Blind, even though they didn't get along while they were on the show, while she also responded to speculation about her relationship in another video.
"When people in my DMs ask if I'm single" she captioned one TikTok, lip-syncing in the video, "Well, actually, that's none of your business."
She also shared a photo of the pair to her Instagram grid in June 2024, while giving a behind the scenes look at her time on the show.
At the moment, Alara is following Stevan on Instagram, but Stevan isn't following Alara - but he also hasn't been posting on the app for weeks. Interestingly, in an Instagram Live since the show (via Reddit user notyourpieceofcakee) Chris Hahn revealed only *one* coupe from Perfect Match season 2 is still together. Is it likely to be them, or are their stronger matches? Hmm.
So are they together? We're not 100% sure, but it doesn't seem like there's any bad vibes if they aren't. Watch this space for their relationship updates!
