Yahoo News Strictly’s Gorka Márquez reveals special wedding roles for children
Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Márquez has shared the sweet roles he wants his children to have at his future wedding to fiancée Gemma Atkinson.
The professional dancer and the former Hollyoaks actress got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2021 and share four-year-old daughter Mia and newborn son Thiago together.
The family of four will be back on screens next week (May 6) in season two of Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens, returning to the W Channel.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, the couple gave us an update on their wedding plans, admitting that they'd like both children to be involved in the nuptials.

"We always said when Mia was born, now we want Mia to be part of it," Gorka tells us. "And now that Thiago is here, it will be nice to wait until Thiago is more independent.
"We don’t want to have a wedding where Mia or Gemma is holding Thiago, Thiago is screaming because he’s hungry and we have to stop the wedding."
Agreeing, Gemma adds: "It will be nice to have them both involved, like them both walking down the aisle with a ribbon with the rings on."

It's here that Gorka admits to having an important role in mind for son Thiago, when the special day arrives.
"I will have Thiago as my best man for example," he tells Digital Spy. "Like Thiago in his little suit walking down with me as my best man."
As for when the wedding will take place, both confirmed it wouldn't happen for at least another year or so.
"Maybe in a few years, we’re not in any rush really," said Gemma, with Gorka jokily adding: "Before Thiago is 18, we will do it."
Viewers will get a glimpse into the couple's busy schedule in the second season of Life Behind the Lens with Mia starting school and the family of three adjusting to life as a four, following the arrival of Thiago last July.
