Pancakes Are Free At IHOP Tomorrow

While most national food holidays come and go without consequence, IHOP is giving us all a reason to actually celebrate National Pancake Day tomorrow by giving away free short stacks of pancakes. From 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 27, each guest can get a free short stack of buttermilk original pancakes if they dine in at a participating restaurant. The offer isn't available for take out and, sadly, doesn't include their flavored pancakes like red velvet or blueberry, but it's all for a good cause.

In exchange for the free pancakes, IHOP is asking for a donation towards local children's hospitals and health organizations to help raise $5 million for children battling critical illnesses. The free pancake giveaway is part of an annual tradition that IHOP started in 2006. Over the last 12 years, IHOP has raised $30 million for charities through their National Pancake Day giveaway.
