The crash is understood to have involved a motorbike and a minibus, according to travel service Inrix. The incident was first reported shortly before 7am on July 1.

Delays were previously reported northbound towards the incident from the A3 and on local roads through Esher town centre. The K3 bus service is understood to have been diverted.

Inrix reported: “A244 Claremont Lane in both directions closed, slow traffic due to serious accident, a motorbike and a minibus involved between Copsem Lane / Milbourne Lane and A307 High Street. Ongoing since just before 7am this morning.”
