Delays as two massive abnormal loads hit Norfolk's roads in the same day

Drivers have been warned to expect delays as two massive abnormal loads are moved through Norfolk tomorrow (Wednesday).

The first vehicle spans more than 52ft in length and 11ft in width, the second even larger load measures 75ft in length and 16ft in width.

The first load is being moved from Oulton to Holt with the second being transported from Poole in Dorset to Hoveton.

The first unit will be escorted by Norfolk Constabulary along the B1149, A148, A1082, A149, Church Street, Holt Road before joining local roads to the site.

The second will be moved along the A11,A14, A47, A1064, B1152, A149, A1151 before arriving in Hoveton.

Both convoys are made up of one unit and an escort vehicle.

The first convoy will set off at 9am, with the second one hitting roads at 1pm.
