TWO young men are to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.

Daniel Brennan, 20, of Avon Drive, Barnoldswick, and Benjamin Havers-Strong, 20, of Wellington Street, Barnoldswick, are both charged with driving dangerously on Broughton Road in Skipton on September 14, 2022.

They were driving separate Toyota Aygos when they were involved in the incident. Prosecutor Richard Walters told Bradford Crown Court today (Friday) that “they were effectively racing”.

His Honour Judge Colin Burn set sentencing to take place on August 8. He ordered an interim driving disqualification for both men and remanded them on bail.
