Kingham, a picturesque village in Chipping Norton, has been named as England's favourite village and notably hosts the UK's poshest farm shop. The location, quintessentially Cotswold, features traditional chocolate box cottages and welcoming village pubs.

Synonymous with wide and open village greens that are bordered by beautiful residential homes dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, Kingham boasts a shop, a church, and two pubs.

It is also home to nearby attractions such as the Churchill and Sarsden Heritage Centre and Daylesford Organic, colloquially known as " the UK's poshest farm shop." The decadence does not halt there, with Kingham being a haven for food enthusiasts with its highly commended pubs, the Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, along with the annual Big Feastival taking place at Blur bassist Alex James' local farm.

Daylesford, which inspired Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm, garnered attention when it delivered food hampers to Boris Johnson at Number 10 during lockdown, leading GloucestershireLive to report it as the preferred shop for the Beckhams among other Cotswold celebrities.

During lockdown, the location became a popular destination for affluent individuals and celebrities like Princess Beatrice and Eddie Redmayne who were spotted purchasing produce from Daylesford farm shop, as reports Bristol Live.

You might catch a glimpse of the English pop star Ellie Goulding while visiting, as she's often seen at Daylesford Organic and is said to reside in the vicinity. The Telegraph reports: "There are many tell-tale signs of the Daylesford Diva. Its glamorous clientele includes Ellie Goulding, who rents on the Daylesford property."

In 2021, Goulding settled in the area with her husband, art dealer Casper Jopling, after spending time confined to their Cotswold abode during the pandemic. They invested in a six-bedroom manor house worth £1.3 million, which they renovated to bring a barn back to its original glory.

The enchanting locale was recently featured in a TikTok video by travel vlogger Fabianaleone04, showcasing the historic dwellings, quaint cafes, and lush green countryside.
