ANOTHER unauthorised traveller caravan camp has been set up in Warrington.

It comes after two others were reported over recent days, with an update also provided on that.

This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington operated by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The new encampment was uploaded onto the log by the Cheshire and Warrington Traveller Team states this afternoon, Tuesday.

Four caravans and associated towing vehicles have pitched up at Gateway Trade Park on Kerfoot Street in Bewsey.

The group arrived on the privately-owned land yesterday, Monday, with a council officer to make contact with the landowner.

Two caravans and towing vehicles previously arrived at Webster Court in Westbrook on Sunday.

A council officer was due to contact the landowner due to the site being privately owned, but the group have now left.

A second encampment, consisting of towing vehicles and four caravans, pitched up yesterday on Bowood Court, off Calver Road at Winwick Quay.

Again, a council officer was to contact the private landowner, but the group have also now left.
