England are on a mission to bring football home once again, and this year, they stand a genuine chance of breaking the 58-year drought.

Gareth Southgate's squad experienced a bitter end at the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, losing to Italy in a penalty shootout. However, they're now aiming to go one step further.

Despite the absence of starting centre-back Harry Maguire due to a calf problem, the Three Lions remain the bookies' favourites to hoist the trophy.

Notable omissions from the final 26-man squad include Marcus Rashford, James Maddison, Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish. Instead, several tournament newcomers have been selected.

Cole Palmer, Anthony Gordon, Kobbie Mainoo and Adam Wharton are among the 12 stars making their major tournament debut for England.

They'll be keen to make their mark as England attempt to navigate Group C, having drawn Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia. The first match against Serbia marks the start of their tournament on Sunday.

Under Southgate's leadership, England has consistently reached at least the quarter-finals in every major international tournament. As this is likely his last competition in charge, the team will be aiming to end on a high note.

As the kick-off draws nearer, here's how you can tune in.
