Watch the Moment Young Thug Saw His 'Jeffery' Dress for the First Time

Within seconds, he knew it would be perfect for the cover.

Young Thug sparked plenty of discussion with the dress he wore on the cover of JEFFERY, but it turns out the decision was a no-brainer for the fashionably progressive rapper. Garfield Larmond (the photographer who shot the cover) told The FADER earlier this week that Thug immediately knew he wanted the dress for the cover as soon as he laid eyes on it for the first time—and now we have video of the exact moment that happened.

Stopping by VFILES with his fiancée Jerrika Karlae, Thug is introduced to the work of designer Alessandro Trincone and instantly mentions his idea for the cover. He then draws a quick comparison to Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat (although he was likely thinking of Raiden's hat). Watch the moment unfold in the video above at the 1:10 mark.
