West Lothian collision leads to delays as commuters urged to 'use caution'

A collision on a busy West Lothian motorway has led to delays for commuters.

The incident was reported at around 7.30am on Wednesday morning. It took place at junction three on the M8 at Livingston.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the westbound section was partially blocked between junctions two and three. Road users were urged to "approach with caution".

The condition of those involved is not currently known.

Traffic Scotland stated: "Incident type - Accident.

"July 4, 7.39am. Location - M8(W) Jct3 (Livingston).

"Direction - Eastbound. The M8 Westbound is partially blocked, between Junction 3 and Junction 2, due to a road traffic incident.

"Road users should approach with caution."
