X Factor's Matt Terry and Freddy Parker move in together amid relationship rumours

It’s been a pretty wild week for X Factor singer Matt Terry, with the hopeful winning the ITV competition on Sunday night before embarking on a whirlwind of press, promo and performances.

However, his big win at the weekend was overshadowed by fellow X Factor 2016 contestant, Freddy Parker, with Twitter going into meltdown following Freddy’s reaction to Matt’s winning performance at the end of Sunday’s show, with viewers certain that they spotted Freddy and Matt share a smooch when shrouded by their fellow contestants.

Matt insists he and Freddy are just good friends.

Two weeks earlier, word had spread that there is a secret, same-sex romance going on behind the scenes at this year’s X Factor, and fans of the show were certain that Matt and Freddy were the two involved.

However, Matt soon dismissed the claims in an interview, saying that he “doesn’t think” that he kissed Freddy on Sunday night, before adding: “Freddy is like my little brother, he’s supported me so much. We hit it off on day one.

“He was crying his eyes out when I won but there is no relationship, I’m afraid guys. Sorry about that.”

And proving that he doesn’t care what people might think of their friendship, Matt took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he and Freddy were moving in together.

He shared: “So me and the little bro @FreddyParker98 just found an awesome apartment. Bring on the man caveeeeeeee [sic]”.

Freddy retweeted the message and added: “Bring it on.”

Although Matt was keen to enforce the “brotherly” relationship, the two boys’ followers still went into meltdown, responding:

Whether they are friends or something more, it’s undeniable that Matt and Freddy are bloomin’ adorable together.
