An emotional Gethin Jones shared a teary video with fans and confessed was trying to make himself 'feel better'. The BBC Morning Live host posted a heartfelt clip as he admitted: "It's a lot."

Footage showed the 46-year-old TV star strolling around town, with his hand covering his mouth. He said: It's a lot. Just having a few tears, just to make myself feel better because I've been out and about asking people about crying, cry-maxing. Are you a 'cry-maxer'? Does crying make you feel good?".

He revealed that recent research showed a good tear-session could be quite beneficial when it comes to relieving stress. He asked fans: "Does that work for you? Or are you someone who bottles it up inside? Please let us know. I've got to go."

People were quick to get involved in the discussion, with one X user replying: "I love a cry. I always feel much better afterwards. It's such a release and I have much clearer thoughts after a cry followed by some deep breaths." The Mirror reports another said: "Realised I cry too much when someone on the TV was crying and the dog rushed over because she thought it was me."

Gethin recently revealed he'd had a spontaneous 'tattoo' in honour of Dragons' Den star, Sara Davies. The entrepreneur recently celebrated her 40th birthday by hosting FortyFest, which had a bar, photo booth and dessert stations for guests to enjoy.

Following the bash, Gethin shared a snap of his forearm etched with "S.D 40" on his Instagram stories, which he captioned: "Seemed like a good idea at the time." Sara re-shared the picture, playfully exclaiming: "When someone loves you enough to tattoo you on their arm.."
