BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse shares candid update as looks back to finding out she was pregnant

Oti Mabuse has shared a candid update as she reflected on the start of her motherhood journey. The former Strictly Come Dancing star announced she and her husband Marius Lepure had become first-time parents on Christmas Day.

They took to Instagram with an adorable photo in which they wore matching festive pyjamas as they gazed lovingly at their baby girl alongside their beloved pet dog, Leo. Oti later told how their daughter, whose name hasn't been shared publically, had actually born prematurely in October.

But the dancer and TV star has since been sharing updates and glimpses into her life as a new mum and on Wednesday evening (May 2), she looked back to when she discovered she was pregnant.

In the video, Oti was seen presenting her husband with her positive pregnancy test as he emerged from the quilt on their bed. He didn't appear keen on being filmed but his giggling wife instructed him to show his face.

While he didn't initially understand what it meant, Oti confirmed the two lines meant she was pregnant. Unable to take the smile off his face, fellow dancer Marius said: "That's amazing, baby!"

Captioning the candid video, the Dancing on Ice judge typed to her 710,000 followers: "Reflecting on the past year, it’s been a whole year since we found out about the best thing to ever happen to us. Don’t get me wrong it’s exhausting and I look like Miss Trunchball now but, realizing my world overall got a whole lot brighter!"

She added: " Grateful for this journey of motherhood and the joy it brings every day. #OneYearMomiversary #BlessedBeyondMeasure #MotherhoodJourney #lifeisbeautiful." And her fans and followers were quick to send messages.
