Biker seriously injured in two-vehicle crash

A biker has sustained serious injures in a two-vehicle crash in Bristol. Police were called to reports of a crash on the B3128 near the Long Ashton Park and Ride on Friday evening (June 28) around 5.50pm.

It was reported that a dark blue food delivery motorbike and a white van advertising a landscaping company crashed.

The biker suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. It is not thought that his injuries are life-threatening but he remains in hospital at this time.

The driver of the van was uninjured.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: "If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224169080, or complete our online appeals form."
