Yahoo News EastEnders spoilers: Bobby's life is at risk after fiery café explosion
The BBC soap has a lot of drama in store for fans in the week of 6-9 November 2023
It’s a potentially deadly week on EastEnders as Bobby is dicing with danger in a fire at the café – which was started by Rocky.
Plus, Keanu fears his kidnap scam will be exposed when Phil tries to get Albie back. And Sonia and Reiss are at loggerheads over their IVF treatment.

Bobby unconscious in café fire
Rocky is worried about finding the money to pay back his loan, but Nish has an idea about how to settle the debt – Rocky could steal a car from the car lot. Initially, Rocky agrees, but after a heartfelt chat with Jay about life following his near-fatal accident, he decides against it.
Rocky then comes up with a rather desperate plan which he confides in Harvey: he’s going to set fire to the café, which is already having problems with its electrics, and then claim the money on the insurance.

Harvey is appalled and threatens to tell Kathy, but ends up wanting to offer Rocky a loan to cover his debts. However, after discovering that Rocky has won and then lost a load of money at the bookies, he withdraws the offer.
And so, on Thursday, Rocky will be seen tampering with the electrics and starting a fire before heading to Walford East for a date he has planned with Kathy. But what Rocky hasn’t reckoned on is a panicked Bobby seeing the flames inside the café and attempting to extinguish them – only for the building to explode and trap an unconscious Bobby inside.
Will Keanu’s actions be discovered by Phil and Sharon?
Efforts continue to track down a missing Albie, but Sharon is concealing the £50,000 ransom note from the police as she fears for her son’s safety. But later on, she reveals all to Kat and Phil, who agree to lend Kat and Phil the money to pay the kidnapper.
Karen, meanwhile, is expressing her worries to Keanu about the fake kidnapping before secretly sending a second ransom note detailing a time and location for the cash.
Phil then suggests that he be the one to drop the money off, as he can deal with whoever it is who’s taken Albie. Keanu is obviously against this idea and reveals that he wants to do the drop – but Phil insists on tagging along.
When Sharon agrees with Phil, Keanu is left fearing that his duplicitous actions are about to be discovered. But in the end, he manages to convince Sharon of an alternative plan: that Karen deliver the ransom as Albie could get hurt if Phil goes in too heavy handed. But will Karen end up blowing her cover?
Reiss and Sonia argue over IVF
Sonia and Reiss pay a visit to the hospital for their first round of IVF. But it’s not long before Reiss’s bossy behaviour starts to irritate Sonia.
Later, Reiss tries to administer the IVF medication - a move that inflames Sonia, who ends up rowing with Reiss and telling him that she’s no longer sure all this is going to work. In the aftermath of the showdown, Reiss ends up drowning his sorrows in the Queen Vic as he discusses IVF and fertility in the company of George, Elaine, Linda, Patrick and Yolande.
Cindy and Ian annoy the Knights
Finally, Cindy and Ian are reluctantly making plans on the renovation of their new shop – the imaginatively titled Beale’s Eels.
But scenes to be shown on Monday will see the Knights left appalled when they learn of the business plans.
