Emmerdale spoilers: Lydia drops bombshell she's leaving family home
Tom and Belle also discuss funeral plans in upcoming ITV soap
The Emmerdale flashback episodes that we teased last week will obviously have huge ramifications when it comes to the circumstances of Craig’s death.
And by this point in the proceedings, the secrets will have been revealed to the viewers at home. However (and this is the pivotal bit), many of the villagers remain in the dark about these hidden disclosures.
So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at all the spoilers for 6 to 10 November 2023

But following the events at the specially convened Dingle court, Sam is set to be left shocked when wife Lydia announces that she’s actually moving out of the family home. Kim, who has of course been a pillar of support for Lydia, then offers for her to move in at Home Farm. Yet while Sam is fearing that he’s now lost Lydia for good, Samson resolves to try and fix things.
Jacob is stressed at having to keep secrets
The stress of having to guard secrets is taking its toll on Jacob, who’s playing with fire where Victoria is concerned. The pair are seen holding hands outside the shop, only to quickly separate when David appears.
Later, Victoria is left perplexed when Jacob suddenly starts to ghost her and wonders what she could have done wrong.
Caleb’s new goal
Nate expresses a desire to spend more time with his uncle Caleb, but Tracy says that she’d rather him stay at home and have a quiet night in.
Caleb, meanwhile, is preoccupied and spends the bulk of the week pursuing a new goal. But will he get what he wants?
Jai and Laurel banish Amit
Jai and Laurel are left slack-jawed with shock when Tracy tells them that Amit attacked Nicky because of his sexuality.
Concluding that this is not acceptable behaviour, Jai and Laurel decide that they want nothing more to do with Amit and cut him from their lives, convinced that he’s a violent homophobe.
Pollard’s bust-up with Brenda
Sam and Lydia’s relationship isn’t the only one under threat, as elsewhere we have Pollard not acting himself and lashing out at Brenda, who has been left baffled his unkind words.
She is then left crying on the shoulder of Nicola, who tries to bolster her spirits before advising her to move on and find another fella.
And so, with fire in her belly, an angry Brenda decides to do just that. Pollard, meanwhile, has now realised what he stands to lose and goes all-out to salvage the situation. But will he be successful?
Tom and Belle’s funeral plans
Belle is encouraging Tom to book flights for his mother’s funeral, but she’s oblivious to the fact that he’s troubled by the prospect of attending the service.
Later, Tom opens up to Belle about not wanting to go to his mum’s funeral alone – but he’s set to be left heartened when she agrees to accompany him.
It’s a case of spend, spend, spend for Bernice.
Finally, Bernice continues to treat herself to luxury fripperies – but she’s also seemingly guarding a secret and will be seen being extra furtive while taking some mystery phone calls. To whom is she talking?
Emmerdale airs on ITV nightly on weekdays, and streams on ITVX.
