Hamza Igamane sees Rangers transfer bid 'lodged' with FAR Rabat as Philippe Clement chases Moroccan hitman

Rangers have lodged a bid to try and sign young Moroccan star Hamza Igamane, according to a report.

Philippe Clement is keen to bolster his attacking options this summer, following Kemar Roofe's departure and the uncertainty around Sam Lammers' long-term future at Ibrox. Bayern Munich youngster Yusuf Kabadayi is said to be on the Belgian's radar, with the Light Blues looking to ease the burden on number nine Cyriel Dessers in front of goal next season.

And according to Moroccan outlet KoraMaroc, the Gers have made an offer for top-flight club FAR Rabat's forward Igamane. The 21-year-old enjoyed a decent campaign in front of goal in 2023/24, netting seven times in 23 matches for FAR, who have qualified for the AFC Champions League after narrowly missing out on the Botola Pro title to rivals Raja CA. Igamane, has won six caps for his country at U23 level, scoring six times and is valued at around £380,000 on Transfermarkt.
