Lisa Armstrong flashes wedding ring as she on performs make-up tutorial on Strictly's It Takes Two

She broke her silence on rumours about her marriage earlier this week to insist she is “not estranged” from husband Ant McPartlin.

And now Lisa Armstrong has let her wedding ring do the talking by flashing the sparkler while performing a make-up tutorial on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two.

Lisa’s ring could clearly be seen when she was applying cleansing water to a male dancer called Ed.

In the clip, she says: “With the boys on Strictly they whizz round the dance floor at 100mph lifting the girls up and down, so they tend to sweat quite a lot.

“So, we prep the skin to combat that really.”

Earlier this week, Lisa hit out at reports she and 41-year-old Ant – who she has been married to for 11 years – are “estranged”, insisting she isn’t going to Australia when he is co-hosting I’m A Celebrity because she has work commitments.

She tweeted: “#writewhatyouwant #haventbeentoOzfor10years #ihaveajob #allaloadofmadeupshit #imnotestrangedthank-you #asyouwere (sic)”

Ant – who completed a stint in rehab over the summer for prescription drug addiction – recently flew Down Under to prepare to co-host the show, which starts on November 19, alongside Declan Donnelly.

Lisa’s comments come after some reports claimed she and the TV presenter were “effectively leading separate lives”.

A friend told The Sun: “Ant is spending time apart from Lisa – he’s said he needs space and everyone respects that.

“They are effectively leading separate lives while he re-evaluates everything.”

Ant has admitted he is feeling “great” ahead of the new series and cannot wait to get going on the new I’m A Celeb series.

He told The Sun: “I’m excited to be back, I can’t wait. It’s going to be a good show. I’m feeling great. The flight was all right, I had a lot of sleep and me and Dec had a good catch-up.”

I’m A Celebrity gets underway on Sunday with a host of stars, including former Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas and Coronation Street’s Jennie McAlpine, among those set to compete to be named king or queen of the jungle.
