Mrs Hinch took to social media to share the devastating news of a sudden loss in the family which has 'turned her whole world upside down' as she was flooded with support.

The cleaning influencer, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, admitted she is going through "unimaginable pain" following the tragic and sudden death of her dad Alan last month. She posted a string of bittersweet memories of the pair on social media in tribute to him.

One clip showed the beloved dad and daughter embracing on the day of her wedding to husband Jamie. In the post on Tuesday, she wrote: "25th April 2024. My precious Dad passed suddenly but so peacefully whilst he slept. My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down. A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words.

"My loving Dad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going. Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad. My absolute king. Your Bubberloo."

She then shared the quote: "Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go."

Sophie and her dad Alan shared a very tight bond - with him helping to build furniture for her dream family home. She lives on a lavish farm with dog Henry and two young sons Ronnie and Lennie Alan James Hinchcliffe, who was named after her dad.

People soon rushed to share their condolences with the Instagram star, as Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure was among the first to respond, writing: "I’m so sorry. Sending much love and strength to you and your family."

It comes after the social media influencer announced she was stepping back from social media last year after her dad was admitted to hospital.

Giving a tearful update to fans, she said in April 2023: "My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health - from his chest, his lungs, his heart. He's always struggled you know." She heartbreakingly added: "I just want him to be happy."
