Alison Hammond moved as she gets marriage proposal live on This Morning
Young guest Louis took a shine to the TV presenter
What did you miss?
Alison Hammond was moved after a young guest proposed to her live on This Morning.
The TV star and her co-host Dermot O'Leary were chatting to former Spurs footballer Allan Cockram about coaching the Brentford Penguins - the UK’s only football team for children with Down’s Syndrome.
And one of the players suddenly popped the question.
What, how and why?
Louis first tried to interview O’Leary before explaining that he had some chat up lines for Hammond.
“Do you live in Tennessee?” he asked her.
The TV star replied that she didn’t and Louis laughed: “Well you’re the only 10 that I see!”
“I’ve got some more chat up lines,” Louis went on as the presenters giggled at his joke.
He then quipped: “Have you just come out of the oven? Because you look hot!”
“Thanks Louis! You’re the best!” exclaimed Hammond as she clapped her hands together.
They hugged and Louis told the star he loved her.
“Will you marry me?” he asked.
“Yes!" replied Hammond, adding: "You’re so lovely!”
Viewers were also charmed by Louis, with one posting a message on X - formerly Twitter - saying that he was a "little belter".
"Yes Louis come through with the chat up line," said another. "Love it!!"
"Awww, little Louis is an absolute joy!" said someone else, as another fan said that he was "adorable".
What else happened?
During the interview with Cockram, the presenters said the ITV show would like to sponsor the kit, as O'Leary held up a shirt with a This Morning logo.
"Is that alright?" asked Cockram.

"That’s more than alright! We are always needing kits."
"Thank you so much," he added.
