Paisley police issue appeal after Mercedes vandalised

Police are appealing for information after a car was vandalised in the Greenhill Crescent area of Linwood.

The windscreen of a white Mercedes A Class was smashed around 6pm on Wednesday, May 22.

Officers are now urging all those who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and have issued a description of the suspect.

A spokesperson for the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Division of Police Scotland said: “Around 6pm on Wednesday, May 22, we were called to a report of a white Mercedes A Class having the windscreen smashed.

“Enquiries so far have found a man, described as 6ft tall, of slim build, wearing a black tracksuit with a hood, a snood and a black baseball cap was seen in the area around the time of the incident.

“Anyone who saw the incident or has any information, CCTV or dash-cam footage which may assist is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 3790 of Wednesday, May 22, 2024.”
