New petrol station becomes Leicestershire's cheapest for fuel this weekend
Glenfield is this week’s cheapest place to fill up with petrol this weekend. Prices are remaining steady, but some concerns are still about due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
The latest data from petrol suppliers and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) shows that as of Friday, June 28, the Morrisons garage in Glenfield’s Station Road is cheapest of all. It is currently charging customers 140.7p per litre at the pumps.
That is 2p per litre cheaper than last week’s cheapest pumps - the Sainsbury’s in Market Harborough’s St Mary’s Close. The CMA data reveals its price of 140.9p per litre is unchanged this week, with the station now dethroned from the top of the cheapest fuel table.
