Line Of Duty continued to make headlines this week after its not-so-explosive season finale left some viewers disappointed. Fans had been wildly theorising for years as to who the elusive 'H' was, only to be left somewhat underwhelmed when the identity of the corrupt office was finally revealed.
But that didn't stop over 12 million viewers tuning in to watch the last episode of the BBC crime drama and its stars and creator Jed Mercurio speaking out in defence against the viewer reaction.
Little Mix also dominated showbiz news over the past few days with exclusive interviews from both past and current band members being published, documentary previews and a big announcement from one of the singers.
Meghan Markle announced she has written a children's picture book, which of course gave Piers Morgan yet more to complain about. And unpleasant allegations of sexual misconduct made against actor and director Noel Clarke meant that viewers of ITV thriller Viewpoint missed out on seeing the ending of the drama, unless they had catch-up.
Oh, and Bottom star Adrian Edmondson got stuck on a ledge while trying to clean his windows.
