1 dead, 3 hurt in Thamesville crash

A 41-year old man from Dresden, Ont., is dead and three people injured following a car crash in Thamesville on Monday.

Emergency crews responded to the collision at Dew Drop Road and Huff's Side Road around 4:30 p.m ET.

The driver was headed westbound when his vehicle veered into the eastbound lane, police say, and collided with the other vehicle.

The three people in the eastbound vehicle suffered minor injuries. The Dresden man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Chatham-Kent police are urging members of the public to come forward if they have any information related to the incident.
